Dell Laptop Headphone Jack카테고리 없음 2020. 1. 23. 07:36
Oct 19, 2018 Fix Headphones not working in Windows 10: I am running the public release of Windows 10 on a Dell laptop that has the Realtek HD audio adapter and this is how I fixed to get the headphone jack to send audio to my external speaker system and to the so-so internal speakers of the laptop! Rated 5 out of 5 by Jeffrey from Nice Laptop Mic and Headphone spliter Works nice to split a combo laptop single mic and headphone jack into two separate ports. Ports are clearly labeled as to which is the mic input and which is the headphone input. Simple but functional.
I recently got a Sennheiser HD201 Headphones. I am not sure to whether my laptop is good enough to drive these headphones. I have an Acer V5-131 laptop with Realtek audio.I don't like my music loud. With my sony in ear style earphones I only listen at 40-50% volume both in player and on laptop volume. But with my new headphones I have to turn up volume 100%(both player and laptop) to reach decent audible levels. I feel like audio is getting distorted as well because of this. Would an amp help here?
I am not a expert but, will audio get distorted at 100% volume?I checked out some amplifiers like FiiO E6 which outputs about 100-150mw to my HD201 which is 24 Ohms. So before getting an amplifier I want to know what my laptops headphone jack is capable of. I want to know what is typical power rating for laptop/notebook headphone jack?EDIT:From this which is really useful and quite comprehensive, I calculated required power for my headphones for decent audible level without any distortion. For 110db SPL which is about 30db average.Antilog ( ( 110 – 108) / 20 ) = 1.25V RMS108 db/1V RMS is my headphone sensitivityNow coming to power requirement( V.

V ) / Impedance = (1.25. 1.25)/24 ohm = 65mWI looked up further. My laptop is using Realtek. I checked datasheet as well. Line voltage is 1.5v RMS MAX (this can drop significantly based on load and current limiting). But there is no max current limit provided there (or I couldn't read datasheet properly) so I could not calculate max output power.
From:Most headphone amplifiers provide power between 10 mW and 2 Wdepending on the specific headphone being used and the design of theamplifier. Certain high power designs can provide up to 6W of powerinto low impedance loads, although the benefit of such power outputwith headphones is unclear, as the few orthodynamic headphones thathave sufficiently low sensitivities to function with such power levelswill reach dangerously high volume levels with such amplifiers. Also, be very careful. You are likely to get the headphones and the amplifier burnt if you don't know what you're doing. As for the laptop jack output, it really depends on whether the jack is set to line-level output (around 0.15V) or headphone-level output (usually 0.5v), although it could reach 1v in some cases. You should be able to find the tech docs for the audio codec of your laptop.
For example, my dell has a.
I had a similar problem. First of all, ensure that your headphones are connected to the right jack plug (the green one).Go to the control panel, then to hardware and sound, then sound. You should see something called manage audio devices. Plug in your headphones and see if they show up. Select your headphones at the bottom it will say set as default, select this option. If they don't, then either your drivers (these things will tell your computer what kind of hardware it has and how to use it) are missing or the the headphone jack itself has failed. Lets say it is in fact your drivers that are missing, then all you need to do is either use windows update(it will detect many of your missing drivers) or go to the manufacturers website and look for them there(usually they will have a tab somewhere on the home page that will say something about support or downloads). And also try different headphones, those could have messed up as well. Now lets say that you do see the headphones show up as an audio device.
Then all you need to do is set them as the default and that should fix your problem. Though I will say that I currently have a problem with switching between the two.
Once I start a program such as media player, it will stick with the current default audio device.I hope that helps you. Thank you Milan. I don't know what you did in that video, but when I clicked on your link, my problem with my headphone jack was solved instantly. I was actually playing sound through my speakers on another open website (netflix), and when I opened your youtube page, the sound finally transferred through to my headphones which I was also wearing at the time. What is strange is that the sound continued playing through the speakers from netflix, while I was streaming sound from youtube through the headset. I closed out the netflix page and reopened it from the youtube page and all seems fine. I don't HAVE hardware in my control panel.
I have Add Hardware but that's used for installing new hardware. I use a Windows Vista operating system and have an Acer laptop. PLEASE HELP!!(my problem, btw, is that my laptop plays sound fine but it's not coming through the headphone jack! It worked fine until today when I started it up and the headphones weren't working. If there's another slution to that, PLEASE TELL ME!)thank you in advance (which means I KNOW you're going to help me:D),anonymous pseudonym. Dude I know how to fix it I had this exact problem!!!Go to Control Pannelclick on Hardware and Soundclick on Soundthen you devices should come up; speakers, Digital Audio, and headphonesplug your headphones inthen select headphonesat the bottom it will say set as defaultselect that!!then when you disconnect your headphones it automatically switches to the speakers and when you plug them back in it automatically will switch to headphones!!boom!!!!there ya go man!!!it took me like 2 hours to figure that out lol. Hope I was helpful.
Hi, Clifton, I dunno if you'll ever come back and read this thread. But I want to thank you. You solved my issue with my headphones. I did like you said, and after I tried shutting down my browser and starting it up again (I'd been listening to an online radio station and realised I needed to shut down my browser to see if your suggestion would work), it worked perfectly.
I guess this is one of the good things about the Net - that people are willing to post on forums like this and help others out. Thanks to you and everybody who posted offering advice to the rest of us!
